What we look at

Business development, access to capital, partnership

Every request is different. These are the themes we explore with you before an introduction to investors.

01

Your business and plans

What you do, your track record, your market and how new capital will create value.

02

The funding requirement

How much capital you need, for what, and over which period: expansion, equipment, working capital or property.

03

The right structure

Partnership (Musharakah), profit-sharing (Mudarabah), cost-plus (Murabaha) or leasing (Ijarah), depending on your situation.

Sharia-compliant home financing, explained

Many Muslim households in Europe look for an alternative to an interest-based mortgage. Here is how Islamic home financing differs. Aminah does not currently offer home financing: this section is for information only.

Conventional mortgage

  • A bank lends you money to buy the home
  • You repay the loan plus interest over time
  • The interest is the bank’s return, whatever happens to the property
  • The relationship is lender and borrower

Islamic home financing

  • The financier buys the home, or buys it together with you
  • You pay an agreed price in instalments (Murabaha), rent for its use (Ijarah) or gradually buy out the financier’s share (diminishing Musharakah)
  • The financier’s return comes from a disclosed profit margin, rent or a share in the asset, not from interest on a loan
  • Rights, costs and risks are set out in clear contracts

The exact financing solutions and their availability still need to be determined. Nothing on this page is an offer of home financing. Register your interest if you would like to hear when there is news.
